2007-Giens
The peninsula of Giens (Presqu'île de Giens) is located in southern France next to Hyères. The dive spots around the peninsula and the islands Porquerolles and Port-Cros belong to the most exciting places I know in the Mediterranean sea. Drop-offs and many ship wrecks provide a very varied under water experience. Port-Cros is a nature-sanctuary and thus a home to lots of species. I dived several years with DIVIN’ Giens (owned by Hansi Hähner).
